Participating in the immersive artwork project by Joe Caslin at Downhill House in County Derry was a transformative experience. The project, which brought new life to the historic site, invited artists, community members, and art enthusiasts to engage with our collective vision of blending contemporary art with the rich cultural history of the location. The project included creating large-scale installations that brought visual storytelling to the forefront, allowing for interaction and deep reflection. Through this collaboration, participants not only contributed to a significant piece of public art but also experienced firsthand the power of art to rejuvenate spaces and foster community engagement and promote conversation. It was an opportunity to connect with both the historical context of the venue and the creative process, helping to shape an artwork that resonates with a wide audience
